Westgold is spreading the love to Garden to Table kids

In 2022, we were delighted to partner with Westgold butter. Their support allows the Garden to Table programme to reach more schools and kura so that even more tamariki can learn to grow, harvest, prepare, and share fresh kai.

The Garden to Table programme is now in over 270 schools, and growing! Partners like Westgold help to ensure we can focus on supporting schools to deliver an educational food programme that drives transformational change in students. Teaching life skills that benefit both their health and that of the environment.

Westgold have recently updated their packaging to highlight this support to their customers, and we’re ‘wrapped’! Keep an eye out for this new pack in store and give their delicious butter a try. You’ll be spreading the love to Kiwi kids when you do!

“The new packaging aligns with Westgold’s brand story and reflects our home, Te Tai Poutini, the West Coast of the South Island, which we believe is a key driver for our intense flavours and great quality”, says Hamish Yates, Westland Milk Products’ General Manager Sales and Marketing.

“We believe it is important to demonstrate integrity of source, place, and way of doing things. Showing West Coast photos and a map on our packaging of where our products are sourced, grounds Westgold in something real and unique.”

Westgold’s purpose is to inspire confidence and creativity in cooking and baking – something that is reflected in Garden to Table sessions throughout Aotearoa.

Hamish Yates says “Westgold seeks to inspire people to cook healthy, nutritious, and delicious food. Our partnership with Garden to Table gives us an opportunity to spread that message at the same time supporting the charity’s incredible work which is having an impact on the education and health of future generations.”

Westgold’s partnership with Garden to Table demonstrates their commitment to making a positive impact. In 2023, Westgold will support more than one thousand students around the motu.

Ngā mihi maioha, Westgold!
